Rope Access Technicians Organisation
The Rope Access Technicians Organisation was established on January 30, 2009 in Zawiercie on the initiative of over a dozen rope access specialists and high altitude work media. The need for such an organization in Poland is undisputed.
OTDL brings together employees and entrepreneurs that use rope access technology. The purpose of the Organization’s activities is to improve the safety of work at height, to increase the prestige of the profession, to develop new work at height regulations and to formulate rules of professional ethics.
OTDL accomplishes its goals by:
1. Seminars, workshops and conferences on the rope access safety of its members.
2. Carrying out statistics and accident analysis of people associated in “OTDL”.
3. Introducing new guidelines for seminars and rope techniques.
4. Tests and independent examinations of equipment used in rope access.
5. Resolving disputes between employees and employers affiliated with OTDL.
6. Promoting the members of the “OTDL” in the high-altitude work market.
7. Promoting rope access techniques as a safe, quick and effective form of work at altitude.
